HP recognizes that we are not only a global corporation, we are a global citizen. And with citizenship, comes responsibilities.
HP and World Wildlife Fund are partnering to reduce HP's greenhouse gas emissions from its operating facilities worldwide, educate and inspire others to adopt best practices, and use HP technology in conservation efforts around the world.
HP is providing cash and technology grants to WWF to advance climate change science and support innovative conservation projects globally to help identify the most effective methods for protecting the environment from climate change.
Projects, like this one, to preserve and restore the global environment will receive new emphasis during 2008. These will be focused on geographic regions that offer significant opportunities for HP's business-and significant opportunities for HP to positively affect the environment .
